My darling wife convinced me to include an animal in the book I am currently working on. I wasn't thrilled at the prospect, but while writing one of my scenes I had a writer block moment. My solution, add a cat. Well, the cat needs a name. I haven't even sexed the cat yet, so maybe someone can help me here also. The cat belongs to the library in my story. I found many famous library cats when I did some Internet searching for ideas. These are some of the distinquished cats I found; "LC" or "Elsie" for library cat, "Dewey Readmore Books" from the Dewey decimal system, "Stacks", "Pages", and the list goes on. I'm hoping for something original. I have one possibility so far of "TLC" from Tennessee library cat, since my story resides in the state of Tennessee. The fictional library is Ashville Library. So, share with me your ideas, and I would even take a good backstory of how the cat became a library cat if you think of one.
