For you authors and writers out there, I am probably preaching to the choir when I tell you how good it feels (for me at least) to begin a new story. After spending weeks revising my book Gravity Gone - The Stone Mystery, it feels enriching to embrace something as simple as change. In a sense, it's a new routine—one that you spend weeks into months completing. At last, I am no longer rereading and rewriting that which felt old over and over, but now I have a new place, a new situation, new challenges for my characters. Even I don't know precisely what lies ahead. It does contain some of the same characters, but that's okay. They are now to face new challenges and situations to overcome.

If you are in need of inspiration, start dreaming. Instead of reading social media, go to the local park and look around. That couple seated on a bench looking at the birds, or stop in your favorite cafe and find a lone man or woman drinking coffee by themselves, and write what you see. Then envision what they are thinking?, what the conversation is about. What has occurred in their lives, changing it forever? These are ideas that can reengage and reenergize your passion for writing.

This craft is a journey of discovery, not just for your characters but for yourself. Each new story is an opportunity to explore new ideas, emotions, and perspectives. Embrace the uncertainty and let your imagination lead the way. Remember, the magic of storytelling lies in the unexpected twists and turns that keep both you and your readers captivated.

Are you ready to start this new chapter? Take a moment to look back and appreciate how far you’ve come. Every word you write, every scene you craft, is a step forward in your growth as a writer. Keep feeding your creativity, stay curious, and don’t lose sight of the joy that writing brings. Your stories have the power to inspire, challenge, and connect us all.

So, pick up your pen or keyboard, and dive into the unknown. For me, it’s about the thrill of not knowing exactly where the story will go, and that’s what keeps me coming back. Your next great story is waiting to be told, and the world is eager to hear it. Keep writing, keep dreaming, and remember that every story you tell adds a little more light to the world. That’s the real magic of being a writer.
